Christopher Tan
-
Founder of Cheeky Kids MY.
-
Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University, Malaysia.
-
Practicing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques since 2016.
His teaching experience as a freelance music instructor for children has allowed him to have an out-of-the-box and innovative approach towards therapy, by executing technical ABA practices with a creative twist. Thus, he is determined to expand the application of ABA by tapping into the musical interests of children with Autism regardless of their intellectual level.
One of Chris’ biggest accomplishments was when he successfully guided a 23-year-old individual with Autism to partially read music notes and independently express himself through music.

Jia Cherng
-
Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University, Malaysia.
With a desire to apply his knowledge to those in need, he began practicing Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) techniques in the Special Needs scene while completing his degree in 2017. Jia Cherng is a firm believer that every child has a potential to succeed, hence he is dedicated to unleashing hidden strengths and abilities in children with Autism.
One of his happiest moments was when his 19-year-old client has learned to take care of personal hygiene and write independently. These small improvements everyday are the motivating factor to Jia Cherng’s patience and compassion for the children.

We track and encourage growth of your Cheeky Kids in our therapy sessions and identify their behaviours.

Felicia Lim
-
Bachelor of Psychology (Hons) from HELP University, Malaysia.
-
Experienced in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, delayed development and delayed language development within pre-school setting.
Inspired by Dr. Templer Grandin’s quote, “Different, not less”, Felicia believes that sincerity and compassion are important values in making a difference in the special education field. She has assisted and trained kids in areas such as self-help (personal hygiene and mealtime), verbal commands (greetings and requests) as well as school subjects and physical activities.
Her most memorable accomplishments of during therapy is when a child expanded his vocabulary from learning ABC and be more responsive to commands. With Felicia’s help, he managed to pick up more social skills with the simple words he learned to express according to the situation.
